Owner & Principal
I am very fortunate to have a home for my jewelry in 35 museums around the world. The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC; The Vatican Museum, Rome; The Victoria & Albert Museum, London, and many more.
I am privileged to have earned a dual degree from Case Western Reserve and The Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland, Ohio. After graduation I taught undergraduate & graduate students the Art of Jewelry at Florida State University, Tallahassee Florida. I call what I do my hobby, because it is my source of creativity and pleasure; which is how this craft became my career.
My designs are intended for the person who does not want just beautiful, precious, mass produced jewelry. My designs are intended for those people who are not afraid of the different or the unusual. There is no sketching prior to starting a collection beforehand, I believe my work is enriched because my creativity is allowed to flourish. I do not copy another artists work, though I draw inspiration from them. My jewelry is made of 18, 22 & 24 Kt. Gold, Sterling Silver, Cloisonné Enamel, semi precious stones and found objects I encounter in every day life that are unusual. Each piece has a personality of its’ own.
If you are considering asking me to make a piece on commission, I do not accept commissions. What can happen is your concept does not translate to me as you would have wanted.
